Your questions answered!
How long are the walks?
Where will my dogs be walked?
My dog has a special diet. Can their needs be accommodated?
The walks will be tailored to each dog(s)/booking. So, if your dog require a 1 hour walk or two hour walk daily, we will follow as requested!
Falkirk Council hosts a lot of nature walks. We will take them to a variety of close by places such as Blackness Castle, Bo'ness Foreshore and Kinneil Estate. Your dog will be on a lead at all times, unless otherwise requested by the owner.
Yes! It is the owner's responsibility to provide us with the correct kibble, wet food or treats if your dog has a special diet.
How can I check on my dog during their stay?
We will update you with photographs and messages on a daily basis via WhatsApp and answer any further questions you may have whilst you are away.
What do you supply for boarding?
How can I book?
We have a handful of beds and blankets. But, we do recommend owners to pack the dog's bed, blanket and toys to make them feel more at home. We can also provide dog bowls. Please see the following list for must brings:
-
an updated dog and owner document
-
collar with tag (name and address/phone number must be stated)
-
lead and harness/collar
Please ensure your dog has completed a trial period prior to booking with us. Dogs who have been booked before sitting the trial period will not be accepted. The trial period usually lasts around two hours. This allows us to meet your dog and for your dog to meet us. You can book a free trial via our email address dinky-doggies@outlook.com

For any repeat clients, you are able to book your stay via email.
What happens after I email?
Once you email, we will reply within 24 hours (please check your junk folder just in case). We will arrange a trial date for you and your dog to visit our premises. If you are happy with continuing a service with us, we will ask you to complete 2 forms (1 form for contact details and the other form for T&C's agreement). From there, you can book a date(s) with us.
Do you take puppies?
We unfortunately do not have the capacity to take dogs under the age of 1 years old.
Why do you ask for 'proxy details' on our booking form?
This is in case of an emergency, especially if we are unable to reach you via text/call. This is also in place in case your dog(s) needs to be collected in case of, as an example but not exhaustive to, behavioural changes during their stay, which we may deem unsafe for us or our resident dog.
